The automatic measurement systems of the HOMMEL OPTICLINE have been developed specifically for use in automation. They can be integrated flexibly in the automated production process by intelligent hardware and software interfaces.


The extraordinarily high flexibility in combination with measuring cycles of a few seconds and the extreme production capability also work to your advantage.

CONTOUR AUTOMATIC

The new CONTOUR AUTOMATIC measuring systems have been developed specially for use in automation. They are an ideal addition to the optical-non-contact shaft measuring systems product range in the field of fully automatic systems for small to medium sized workpieces such as gear shafts, articulated shafts and cam shafts. The systems offer an extraordinarily high flexibility in combination with extremely fast measurement cycles. They are particularly suitable for use in concatenated production lines and excellently meet high demands with regard to future safety and reliability in a flexible production. The CONTOUR AUTOMATIC is well prepared for fully automatic application for 100 % inspection in the production line. The systems can be delivered according to requirements in different versions and designs such as horizontally lying or hanging and vertical. A wide variety of types is available as for the well-known CONTOUR systems. Loading can be performed by a lift-off station, gantry or robot depending on the requirements. Different interfaces are available for linking to the production line and communication with the handling system. Special software functions for automation and optional software for correction value control are available for successful operation of the measuring systems in the concatenation.
