Final inspection measuring machines
Automatic final inspection measuring machines are always made individually according to customer specifications whereby the degree of automation depends basically on the required production quantity and the set measuring task.

High measuring speeds, classification, signing and sorting possibilities and the exclusion of external influences are excellent features of these machines.

The measured value acquisition, result display, documentation and statistical qs-STAT® evaluation are performed by the HOMMEL TESTER MC500.

In addition to the listed application examples of the crank shaft and cam shaft, HOMMEL-ETAMIC supplies final inspection machines for engine components with the emphasis on:

  • cylinder block
  • con rod
  • valve

Crank shaft
Final inspection measuring machines for crank shafts are available in two different versions. The workpieces are fed here optionally by:
  • gantry on rest prisms
  • lifting station from the conveyor belt

The measuring machines are distinguished by:

  • various function monitors

  • automatic setting master handling

  • extensive statistic analysis

  • different signing variants

  • maintenance-friendly measuring station

  • automatic temperature compensation

  • high measured value recording rate

  • automatic part sorting

Cam shaft
The HOMMEL-ETAMIC final inspection measuring machines for cam shafts are distinguished by short cycle times and a high measured value recording rate.
A high measured value density is particularly important for chattermark measurement.

Profile measurements on the standard, hollow and special cams are standard to the HOMMEL-ETAMIC measuring machines.

A fully automatic oil bore inspection can be implemented optionally.
