The WAVESPEED 1010 is a versatile system for measuring 3D topographies. Optical sensors guarantee a fast measuring rate at high measured value resolution. The HOMMEL MAP EXPERT software enables measurement control in real time and offers extensive analysis possibilities of the recorded topography data. Triangulation lasers or a chromatic white light sensor act as a measurement principle.

Topography software HOMMEL MAP
HOMMEL MAP, the software option for the HOMMEL TESTER T8000, enables the three-dimensional display and analysis of your topographical measurement data. You have the choice between two versions:

Chromatic white light sensor - Measuring with light
The sensor uses the chromatic longitudinal aberration of a special lens. Owing to the independence of the measurement principle from the surface properties of the measuring samples such as reflectivity, colour and texture, a wide variety of different materials can be measured.
The coaxial measurement principle is insensitive to shadowing so that structures with large aspect ratios can also be measured. The compact measuring head operates without moving parts. The sensor is particularly suitable for topography measurement due to the highly effective measuring rate. The measuring range is determined by selection of the appropriate sensor head.
